Grand Theft Auto 3 and GTA: Vice City Rated for PS3 Release

The ESRB (Entertainment Rating Software Board) from the U.S. has just passed a couple of new ratings for Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City on the PlayStation 3 platform.

While quite a lot of gamers enjoyed these two great titles on all sorts of platforms over the years, from the PC, to the PS2 or even Android or iOS devices, in the form of the GTA 3: 10 Year Anniversary Edition, these ratings pretty much confirm that they’re set for a re-release on the PlayStation 3.

Rockstar has yet to comment on this, but we might expect a concrete announcement in the near future. There’s no word on whether the games will be released in their original editions, as part of the PS2 Classics lineup, or if they’re going to be remastered in high definition and released on a single Blu-ray disc.

Either way, GTA fans can expect a few more details in the following weeks.
