Gran Turismo 5 seems to be filled with content, as the most recent feature to be revealed by Sony is the social networking menu called My Lounge. This is the starting point for all of the game's online functionality, as well a kind of profile page that contains the player's statistics and messages from friends or other players.

The Official PlayStation Magazine revealed that My Lounge will allow players to browse their friends profile, checking out their statistics and send out their own messages. Furthermore, My Lounge will support voice chat for up to 32 players. For those who want to play the game with others, My Lounge gives the possibility to host online races for up to 16 players, spectate other on-going races and race replays.

According to the magazine, My Lounge will also grant access to the GT-TV VOD service that will provide real world car related video content. This is another of the big load of information about Gran Turismo 5 that is coming out these days. It seems Polyphony Digital and Sony are trying to hype fans for the upcoming release of the long awaited racing title designed by Kazunori Yamauchi.

After the many delays that have plagued its development, Gran Turismo 5 is finally ready to come out. The PlayStation 3 exclusive will launch on the 2nd of November this year and will be fully playable in three dimensions for the first time in the series' history'. Yamauchi also promised that the damage models have been greatly improved from the previous versions and that players will be able to race at night and on any weather conditions they choose. Furthermore, World Rally Championship, NASCAR and Super GT licenses are included this time around, making Gran Turismo 5 one of the most comprehensive racing titles to come out this year.
