Ever since his days on American Idol last year, Adam Lambert has been known for two things: his incredible voice and his unique fashion sense. Always a fan of black nail polish, heavy jewelry, makeup and flashy getups, Lambert certainly did not disappoint on the red carpet at this year’s Grammy Awards, as JustJared can confirm.

Speaking just recently with Vman magazine about what fashion meant for him and insisting that he would not want his orientation to be used as a means to label his style, Adam also revealed he would be serving as fashion correspondent for Entertainment Tonight at the 2010 Grammys. As such, pressure for him to look his best must have been huge, as he also hinted in a previous interview – but, safe to say, the singer handled himself admirably.

Though he’s not that experienced when it comes to walking the red carpet, in the sense that he’s just kick starting his career, each time Adam puts in a public appearance, he always manages to create a positive impression. The Grammys were no exception, with Lambert walking the red carpet in a sequined, well-tailored suit, complete with a black neckpiece, heavy rings and, of course, plenty of makeup, with some even saying that he had more makeup on than an ‘80s boyband. Then again, Adam has always been known for his love of eyeliner and foundation.

Speaking of what he loves, Lambert was telling Vman that he has come to live for fashion. He’s always loved clothes and he now finally had the opportunity to play dress-up, which is just fabulous. Plus, he gets to experiment, which can clearly be seen by comparing two of his appearances and noting that he never quite goes for the same style, constantly being able to change something about himself.

“What I do has been done before. It’s glam. I’m inspired by the ’70s and ’80s. Bowie is a huge influence. So are hair bands. […] Our society is more fearful, I guess. And they don’t party enough. Everyone was partying in the ’80s,” Adam was saying a few days ago, when talking to Vman for the “How to Dress Like a Pop Star” feature.

Adam Lambert looked great as usual. He was adorable doing fashion, but hopefully next year his album will qualify for him for an award and to perform! This man's voice is is just phenomenal and he is very respected by other artist.

Have to agree with Adam-kids don't party as much as they did in the 60's, 70's and 80's from all reports. With all the pressure in the world today, I think it is important for us to be able to lighten up and have a good time.

Adam's fashion sense is 80-90% right on, in my opinion. Usually very classy and elegant, with just the right touch of camp and fun. Biggest miss was one of his 1st public events after Idol, the Young Hollywood Awards. And in my personal opinion, the tall, steepled hair is unflattering to him-it makes his face look too harsh. The softer hair styles make him appear younger. But all in all, a classy trendsetter, indeed.

Adam, you have an amazing voice, can't get enough of you singing.
In my opinion, you should have won Americal Idol. Keep working
hard and pretty soon you will be at the top. Wey to go.
your a very classy act and I think you could do anything that you
wanted musically. Perhaps you may even get into a few live musicals
and if you come back to Toronto, I will definitely come to see youl

YOUR THE BEST.
