Gotham City Impostors is getting ready for the release of its beta stage later this year and, in order to show off the flexibility of the online shooter, the associate producer, Lucas Myers, has put together a new video of the game.

Warner Bros. is expanding its Batman franchise beyond the Arkham titles made by Rocksteady, and has tasked Monolith Productions with developing Gotham City Impostors, a multiplayer first person shooter where teams of people dressed up as either Batman or The Joker fight it out in various locations from the comic book series.

We've already heard quite a lot about the title, but a new gameplay video has now been presented to the world, in which Myers uses a 'ninja' play style, in which he wields a silenced sub machine gun, a hunting bow, ninja stars and smoke bombs, and shows off how they can be used to surprise your opponents in the game.

Check out Myers's in-game and real life ninja adventures in the video above and get ready for Gotham City Impostors on January 10, 2012, for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
