If being a bus driver was not enough for you, try this!

Since everybody seemed to be madly in love with Bus Simulator, the game industry has decided to push things a bit and try bringing us a Truck Simulator. Actually, the game is developed by the same company that brought us the bus sim, so we can say that it's a fair deal, after all. Let's hope it will actually bring some improvements and not just a change of names (and, most likely, vehicles).

The game will be released by the end of the summer by Excalibur Publishing and promises to bring simulation fans all over the world a cheap alternative to the ever growing fuel prices: virtual worlds. And this trick might work for some!

Euro Truck Simulator is a game that will appeal to everybody who loves to drive, say the developers, stating that their aim was to deliver a lifelike experience: you'll have to grow your business, earn money for new lorries and unlock new routes in order gain even more money... and so on. However, it won't be all about endless driving and reaching the destination on time, you'll have to do some planning, too. For example, you will have to plan your routes closely, including petrol stops, budget to be paid for damage of the lorry or cargo and so on. Being a trucker is not easy!

Robert Stallibrass of Excalibur Publishing says, "The graphics are outstanding. Not only can you 'look' around the cabin from the driver's seat and see the detail, but all gauges and levers are fully functional allowing you to indicate, switch on lights, turn on high-beams as well as checking your speed on the fully functional speedometer."

So, if you are planning to have a great experience this summer and maybe learn a thing or two about the geography of Europe (since the game uses real maps), Euro Truck Simulator is the game you're looking for. It will hit the game store stands on the 29th of August, so you'd better mark that day in your calendar!
