Luxury phones manufacturer Vertu has recently added a new handset to its Signature lineup, the Signature Precious.

This is the third phone in the series, along with Signature Stainless Steel and Signature Pure Black, but it's the most expensive.

Vertu has yet to announce the price of Signature Precious, which will be hard to determine as multiple models of the luxurious device are available for purchase.

Obviously, the handset is manufactured only from the finest and ultra-expensive materials, to offer its customers an exquisitely built device.

Those who love Vertu's phones will be able to choose their own built, as the Signature Precious can be manufactured from either red, yellow or white gold.

Basically, customers can choose the exact materials they think it suits them best, from the color of the leather, which can be black or brown, to the kind of precious stones that the phone should be encrusted, including diamonds, rubies or sapphires.

As the manufacturer shows in the movie below the news, the keys on the front are made from sapphire, the keypad uses 4.75 carat solid ruby bearings, while the SIM tray is forged in gold or platinum.

This also means that a price for the Signature Precious handset will be hard to determine, as each model should be evaluated according to the materials used at manufacture.

It is also worth mentioning that each Vertu Signature Precious mobile phone is built manually by a single craftsman, who engraves his name below the battery.

The phone's specs are less important, but the Signature Precious features an OLED display, 4GB user memory, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity.

In addition, it appears that the handset's ringtones are composed by Academy Award winning composer Dario Marianelli and performed by London Symphonic Orchestra and one of the world’s most famous flutist, Andrea Griminelli.
