Yesterday, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation made a new flavor of its HTC One smartphone official, one that comes dressed up in a Gold color, and users in the UK can already pre-order the device.

The mobile phone can be seen listed on the website of UK retailer Phones4U today, available for free on monthly plans starting at £29 ($47/€35).

No availability date for the device has been provided as of now, but the retailer’s website notes that those who order it today will receive it in 4-5 weeks.

Basically, this falls in line with the previous reports on the release of the Gold HTC One in mid-to-late December in Europe.

The new smartphone variant is not different from the previous versions, except, of course, for the outer color. However, those who purchase it will enjoy the same 4.7-inch full HD touchscreen that it featured before.

The mobile phone also packs a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor inside, along with 2GB of RAM for increased performance capabilities.

Furthermore, HTC One was launched with 32GB of internal memory, as well as with a 4MP UltraPixel camera on the back, with support for full HD video recording.

The specifications list of HTC’s flagship smartphone also includes a front camera for making video calls while on the go, 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, and built-in GPS receiver.

Furthermore, the handset also comes with NFC functionality, HTC BoomSound dual frontal stereo speakers, and HDMI port.

HTC One runs under Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system with the HTC Sense UI loaded on top, and also features a variety of apps and functionalities coming from HTC itself, such as HTC Zoe and HTC BlinkFeed.

Those of you who would like to grab the new Gold colored HTC One model should head over to this page on Phones4U’s website to reserve it.
