Even though most of the Wii games have a particular design that makes you think that they are developed for preschoolers, well, they're not! But 2K Play has decided to design a game especially for the youngsters, in their quest to help the parents have a good time with their children, while introducing them to the virtual world as well. To be sure that they will manage to bring the best possible experience, 2K Play has joined up with Nickelodeon and things seem to be working fine, since the game will be released on the 12th of February.

"For Go, Diego, Go!: Safari Rescue, we've created an entirely new interactive experience for preschoolers that is only possible on the Wii," said Steve Lux, Vice President of Business Development for 2K Play. "Nickelodeon's intensive study of how two through six-year-olds experience the new technologies offered by the Wii helped us create an all-new play pattern that extends beyond current games. Physical activity is an integral part of the fun and the new title is perfectly suited for the younger gamer."

Go, Diego, Go!: Safari Rescue has 13 intuitive Wii motions that maximize the engineering of the Wimote for the preschoolers. The players will have to stomp to scare away lions, jump with baby jaguars, paint stripes on zebras, climb up ladders and swim across the jungle river by mimicking all the actions with the Wii remote. Personally, I don't know how good is to let youngsters believe that they can scare lions and be friends with jaguars... but Nickelodeon surely knows what it is doing.

Anyway, the parents can join the game any time, since Go, Diego, Go!: Safari Rescue has a feature that allows parents to collaborate with the youngsters by using the special Safari Guide Helper Feature and a second Wii Remote. The game will be available for purchase starting the 12th of February, for the Nintendo Wii consoles, as well as PS2s.
