GlobalFun and [adult swim] Have Nonconformist Plans

Since yesterday, 30th April, it's official: GlobalFun, a leader publishing company famous in the wireless entertainment development world, announced in London that they will collaborate with Turners [adult swim] to create mobile games.

The first project is to develop a game based on "The Brak Show", [adult swim]'s well known program. This future mobile game is intended to be Sims-alike,

containing characters and elements from The Brak.

Alan Musa, [adult swim] Channel Manager, stated: "The Brak Show is one of [adult swim]'s leading programs and we believe this show can work well on mobile. GlobalFun have done a fantastic job translating the spirit of the show to a mobile platform which will complement [adult swim] distribution."

The GlobalFun representant, CEO Marcus Johansson, explained: "The properties of Turner and the way the creative process is being approached suits us very well as a game development company. We see this as a solid first step in our future dealings with Turner both from development and distribution point of view."

[adult swim] is a subdivision of Turner Broadcasting System devoted to create edgy animation. It's a smash hit in the US and now it's available on TV and online in the UK too. With original nonconformist programs and a smart combination of animation and humor, [adult swim]'s goal is to captivate adults from about 18 to over 30 years old that enjoy creative and cult entertainment, be it on TV or on the internet. Fans can visit their official UK site to find out information and news but also to watch clips for free. For those who pay, full-length programs are available, including The Brak Show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Space Ghost, Robot Chicken, Sealab 2021, Venture Brothers or Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law.
