At just 25, Chantelle is a millionaire, despite having arguably little to show for her fame and reputation. Also at just 25, the glamour model and reality show personality has come to regret the decisions she made fresh out of divorce, when she surgically enhanced her figure and turned from girl next door to pneumatic blonde, as she reveals in the latest issue of Heat magazine.

Chantelle was in a 10-month marriage with fellow “Celebrity Big Brother” contestant Samuel Preston and then in an affair with footballer Jermain Defoe. Following the two highly mediated splits, she turned to plastic surgery to transform herself into a genuine what is known as a WAG (wife and girlfriend of a star of the English Football team), a decision she deeply regrets now, what with the implants causing her severe pain.

“They’re just too big. Now I just want to hide them. I thought I wanted to go up to that size and I loved them at the time, but now I wish I’d never had them done. I’m very bad at making decisions and I just change my mind really quickly, so I do regret it now.” Chantelle says for the aforementioned publication. “Looking back, I did it for the attention. I realize it was a cry for help. They’re taking over my life.” the glamour model further explains, adding that she is now seeing a doctor twice a week in a bid to alleviate the pain caused by the extremely heavy implants.

In the same interview, the model also admits the obvious, namely that she has also had face fillers and other surgical procedures. She also says that she simply couldn’t live without hair extensions, but is vocal about her determination to make yet another change in her life by coming down from a 32E cup to something more natural.

Chantelle Houghton is not the only British glamour model to speak out about having had work done to look better, as neither is she the only one to voice regret over doing it. Also this year, Shelly Short, a struggling model, spoke about running into serious debt trying to look like Katie Price / Jordan, while Alicia Douvall, the infamous kiss-and-tell queen, said that she had lost all feeling in several parts of her body because of plastic surgery.
