Even though the desktop version of AMD's Llano processors isn't expected to become official until the end of June, Gigabyte Germany has just made public the company's entire FM1 motherboard lineup via its official Facebook page.

Five of the 12 AMD FM1 motherboards that will make their appearance use the A55 chipset, while the remaining seven are based on the more feature rich A75 Fusion controller hub.

The main difference between these chipsets is their support for USB 3.0, which is only available in the A75 FCH, as otherwise they both offer six SATA 6Gbps ports, and are compatible with AMD's Hybrid CrossFireX technology.

As far as Gigabyte's implementations are concerned, the most advanced motherboard that was announced today is the A75-UD4H, which includes two PCI Express x16 slots (the second one is x8 electronically), three PCI-E x1 slots and with two legacy PCI slots.

The motherboard also features five SATA 6Gbps ports as well as a front USB 3.0 header for installing two such high-speed interfaces on the chassis' front panel.

The sixth SATA connector that is available from the A75 FCH has been routed to the back of the board as an eSATA port where it is also accompanied by a wide series of USB 2.0 ports, four USB 3.0 ports and by HDMI, dual-link DVI and DisplayPort video outputs.

According to Gigabyte, the company was the first to integrate a dual-link DVI connector on an A75 motherboard and, apart from the UD4H, such a port is also found in the A75-D3H, the A75-UD2H and in the A75M-D2H.

The A75-UD4H also features a 7.1-channel high-definition audio codec that is Dolby Home Theater certified and has a signal to noise ratio of 108dBA.

Gigabyte didn't disclose any information regarding the released date of its AMD FM1 motherboards, but these should reach retail soon after AMD introduces the desktop Llano APUs. (via ComputerBase)
