The largest smartphone in the world proves successful

Today, South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung confirmed Galaxy Note sales of over five million since the official release of this device back in October.

The handset has seen great traction on the market, and sold well through all channels in the countries where it was released, including wireless carriers and retailers.

Moreover, Samsung announced that the device help it grab over 67 percent of the smartphone market in South Korea and that it also became the leading vendor in China, France and Spain.

Galaxy Note is the largest smartphone from Samsung, packing a touchscreen of 5.3-inches, which can provide users with a great experience when it comes to viewing multimedia files on the go.

Samsung plans on pushing the Galaxy Note to more markets to increase sales, and also confirmed the upcoming availability of a LTE-capable version of the device on the airwaves of NTT Docomo in Japan.
