Although the new Android HTC mobile has not been confirmed yet, rumors have surfaced claiming the device is almost fully developed and that it is going to be officially announced soon. In any case, should it be released in January, as it was first rumored, or in April, as it is now believed, fans are still as excited as ever about it.

Surprisingly, the specs regarding the G2 do not include features that some would call elementary for such a mobile, like a QWERTY keyboard, but since the news is in rumor phase, there is still hope for HTC fans.

Starting off the presumed presentation, the G2 is, naturally, going to run on Android's OS, complete with 3G and Wi-Fi capabilities. Moreover, EDGE and GPRS support plus a 5 Megapixel autofocus, flash camera will be included. On top of that, a USB interface and stereo Bluetooth are also among the primary features.

Focusing only on the top specs, this new HTC handset is said to be equipped with an up to 16GB memory card slot plus a full touchscreen and enterprise capabilities. The mobile will also include most common features, such as address book, calculator and other such ordinary capabilities, also adding instant messaging, mobile backup and a music and video player.

Finishing with the most important features, the new Android-powered phone has been added picture messaging, video capture and playback, video messaging web browsing and PC syncing capabilities. Naturally, the device will pack other specs as well, but, although some very important features seems to have been forgotten, keep in mind that this is just a presumption for the moment.

Since no rumor comes on its own and there surely is at least some truth behind these claims, the G2 could have a soon arrival. Furthermore, even a G3 model is said to be in the works.
