Insomniac Games is quite proud of its upcoming Fuse shooter and has now released a massive 42-minute gameplay video complete with commentary from its internal team, showcasing some of the early levels in the game.

Fuse is set to deliver an experience focused on cooperative gameplay, as players take on the role of one of four different special agents who wield special weapons augmented with an alien substance called Fuse.

Developer Insomniac already shared some details about the title with fans for quite some time and even demonstrated it through gameplay trailers.

Now, the studio has aired a special live stream, in which it showed 42 minutes worth of gameplay footage.

The video, available below, shows some of the Insomniac team controlling the different characters and going through one of the early levels in the game.

While the third-person shooter is cover-based, the weapons certainly make it stand out from other titles of this kind.

Fuse is out on May 28, in North America, and May 31, in Europe, for PS3 and Xbox 360.
