A couple of days ago we found out that the name of the upcoming Fujifilm weather-sealed X-series camera could be X-T1. The device will come with an SLR-like body as well as with an additional battery grip and shutter release.

According to FujiRumors, an anonymous source has also revealed that the new X-T1 camera will also have an extra-large electronic viewfinder (EVF). The same source also states that “the new EVF is big and beautiful and the refresh rate is the best I’ve ever seen. Really. Greatest EVF on the market… Some cool tricks in the EVF.”

Moreover, it seems that the upcoming X-T1 features the same 16.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor found on the Fujifilm X-E2. The camera also incorporates a double SD card slot and is expected to be announced by the Nippon manufacturer at the end of this month with a price tag somewhere between the X-E2 and X-Pro1 mirrorless models.
