It would really seem that some people's love for all things Apple extends way beyond the usual purchasing of just about any device featuring the famous fruity logo, this being exactly the case with Japanese company Twinbird, who's actually rolled out a mini refrigerator that looks a lot like the famous desktop monster developed by the company from Cupertino, namely the Mac Pro.

Discovered by the guys over at AkihabaraNews, this little gem (model HR-D205B) has is just the thing you'd want around in order to store your refreshments and multiple 350 ml beverage cans, since its overall capacity is not exactly fantastic (after all, we're talking about just around 16 liters).

And that small interior volume shouldn't come as much of a surprise, either, since the device measures 245 x 445 x 575mm and weighs around 8.2 kilos (while empty, of course), meaning that you shouldn't have too much trouble carrying it around from one room to the next, especially since it can be placed in both vertical and horizontal positions.

The device employs an electronic Peltier cooling system (requires around 60W for nominal operation) and also offers a fairly reasonable level of versatility as far as placing it around the house is concerned, since it comes packed with a 2-meter cable.

Moreover, it's really quiet (just 2db during normal functioning) and offers quite an OK level of cooling efficiency, managing to bring down the temperature of its contents from 25 Celsius degrees (ambient) to roughly 5 Celsius degrees.

Pricing for this thing has been set at 31,500 yen (around 375 US dollars), which a rather OK price point for all hardcore Apple fans out there.

Unfortunately, there's no word whether the Mac Pro-shaped refrigerator is available outside Japan, but we certainly hope that is, given the cool factor (and cooling features) it provides.
