The new Windows Phone 7 operating system from Microsoft might prove a nice deal for those who are looking for the purchase of a new mobile phone during the holiday season, even if they are not yet available all around the world.

But those customers who would have access to Windows Phone 7 devices on the local market, should strongly consider making an acquisition, since these handsets come with a special offering this holiday season.

To be more precise, they would bring a free Xbox game for any customer who is buying a new Windows Phone 7 device.

Upon purchase, users would be able to choose to receive a free game out from a number of four available titles. And not any games, we might add, but some of the most appealing titles of the season.

“Just in time for the gifting season Microsoft is making a special offer, buy a Windows Phone and get a free Xbox game to go with it," Microsoft's Brian Seitz announced via a recent post on the Windows Phone blog.

"When you buy any Windows Phone 7 you can pick either Fable 3, Halo Reach, Kinectimals or Kinect Joy Ride, some of the hottest games this holiday.”

This special offer was put up by Microsoft only yesterday, and is valid for any Windows Phone 7 device that was purchased between December 17, 2010 to December 31, 2010.

The new deal adds to some other appealing offers currently available for Windows Phone 7 devices in the United States market, such as the “buy one get one for free” promotions that both AT&T and T-Mobile put in place.

In case there are some yet unfamiliar with Windows Phone 7's availability on the US market, we should note that users can choose from a number of three handsets at AT&T, or one of the two phones based on the OS that are available with T-Mobile connectivity.
