What about those Christmas presents?

TheMacNurse has got a really nice initiative. That initiative would be to give a free Mac application each day, from the 1st of December to the end of the year. The website where all the "giving away" will happen does not offer that many details on the technical procedures nor are there any terms and conditions and none of the little stars, that, when you see them, you just know that it is some kind of catch to it. Sounds pretty legit, but some are so untrusting that just won't believe it until they see it.

The short version is that there are 5,000 applications given away every day of December. This means that 5,000 people that enter their site between 1-31 December will win a free Mac application. The only thing that is really specific on how one might get such a prize is the following: One mac app a day throughout December, and another on New Years Day. Even if all the apps were only worth $5.00, that'd be $150.00. And some of them are worth a lot more. Oh, and this is not a competition. Everyone gets every single application. All you have to do is remember to visit the site each day from the 1st December.

The thing that might confuse some is how are they going to give every single application to everyone? Well?that seems to be a little out of focus. I have a strong feeling that, most of the days, there will be more than 5000 people on the website just waiting there to get their free applications. On what basis are these people going to be sorted out? By views per day or by the days they are on the website; or maybe by who enters first. They could give it to the first 5000 of the day, or just offer them as a 31-package of applications for each of the 5000 visitors that enter every day. We're still waiting for some update from them, and if received, the news will be updated.

Also, the site is not offering any other kind of information about which, or even what kind of applications will there be. Not even the name of a software developing company... nada. Even if for some it is infernally suspicious, and nothing is really guaranteed, the curious ones can click Here.
