Angelina Jolie might have topped the charts for being the “yummiest mommy” ever, but that does not mean in any way that talk of her weight will simply go away. Criticized for her frail frame even before she gave birth to the twins, the actress is now reportedly pouring more fuel on the fire by going on a liquid diet for her part in the upcoming “Salt.”

The movie has Jolie as a Evelyn Salt, a spy who might be working as a double agent, which is where the entire appeal of the movie is to be found, according to its producers. In recent days, photos of the actress doing her own stunts have emerged on the Internet and, as usual, they have also revealed her delicate frame, which, some say, could be a sign that a diet is actually the last thing she needs right now.

Yet, sources on the set of the movie tell The Sun, Angelina has become a follower of the liquid diet, or cleansing diet. This means that she’s not eating any solid food at all, and is living solely on a mixture of fresh lemon juice, cayenne pepper, water and maple syrup. That, plus the fact that she’s doing most of her stunts have her co-stars worried about her health and safety all the time, the tab writes. “She does all her own stunts but we worry she could injure herself due to the weight loss.” an unnamed source reveals for The Sun.

Just recently, the first photos from the set of “Salt” surfaced on the Internet. They showed Angelina in a black and then a blonde wig, with the producers speaking in very glowing terms of the spy drama / action movie that would come our way in 2010. Apparently, according to them, the biggest appeal of the movie will not be so much the fact that we get to see Angelina in it, but her rendering of the character, which has been scripted in such a way as to always keep audiences on their toes.

“She’s a character you never know. People who think they know the real her may or may not. Those who think they can tell whether she’s in a disguise also may or may not. You’re supposed to be kept guessing. She tells you her agenda, but are you supposed to believe it?” producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura (“Transformers” and “G.I. Joe”) shares in the aforementioned interview.
