JVC rolled out quite a large number of new and interesting products at CES 2011, including here quite a few multimedia products targeted directly at car owners, as is the case with the following AV Multimedia products, designed to offer drivers a comprehensive multimedia experience while being on the go. The first AV receiver from JVC we'll talk about is the KW-AVX840, that comes equipped with a 7-inch motorized widescreen touch panel display with proximity sensor and detachable face, while also packing other advanced technologies, such as Bluetooth, USB 2.0 port for 2-way iPod/iPhone control, External Mode for audio playback from iPod/iPhone apps, and is HD and Satellite radio ready.

The receiver, set to be released in March 2011 for around 650 US dollars, also sports a 7-band iEQ, MOS-FET 50 watts x 4, three sets of 4V pre-outs, offers Dual Zone and Dual play features, plus compatibility with some of the best-known audio file formats around, including WAV/MP3/WMA.

Next in line comes the Arsenal KW-ADV794 DVD/CD/USB receiver that boasts a 6.1” VGA display, as well as MOS-FET 50 watts x 4, 3 sets of 5V pre-outs, Dolby Digital, wireless remote, while the rest of the features are more or less the same as those provided by the KW-AVX840.

Pricing for the Arsenal KW-ADV794 model has been set at $579.95, the unit's market availability being set for February 2011.

Moreover, JVC has also introduced the Regular Line KW-AVX740 Double-DIN AV Multimedia Receiver, offering the same overall features as the KW-ADV794 but only 3 sets of 4V Line Outputs, at an MSRP of 549.95 (estimated availability has also been set for February 2011).

Last, but certainly not least, comes the 6.1” Detachable screen KW-AVX640 receiver, a Double-DIN AV solution that is Bluetooth-ready using JVC’s new KS-BTA100 optional adapter (the adapter enables such features as Hands-free, Audio streaming, Voice Dialing, and Handsfree/Private mode) and is set to ship in February with a retail price of $499.99.

All in all, we can really say that JVC's got plenty of interesting surprises in store for in-car multimedia fans, at least if they've got the money to afford them.
