The "partial" release date for what will probably be the best racing sim out there, Forza Motorsport 2 has been revealed. Peter Moore, the Xbox boss, has finally spilled the beans and revealed the release dates for several Xbox games.

The games in question are Forza Motorsport 2, Crackdon, Shadowrun and Too Human, titles that are set for release at the end of June 2007. I thought that Forza Motorsport 2 was due to come out sometime in February of 2007, as I was eagerly waiting for it, but I guess I was wrong as Peter Moore contradicted me.

The game's developers, Turn 10 Studios and Microsoft Games are expected to introduce more than 300 cars in Forza Motorsport 2, including models like the Nissan 350Z, Volkswagen Golf R32, Nissan Skyline, Mitsusbishi Lancer Evo VIII (can't wait because it's my favorite car of all time), Dodge Viper and the BMW Z4.

Over 70 tracks will be featured in Forza 2, and a screenshot of the game shows a giant ferris wheel and that means only one thing, namely that the Suzuka Circuit will be present in the game. Speculation that Sebring International Raceway and Blue Mountain racing circuits will be included is circling the web, but nothing has been confirmed by the game's developers.
