The service enables mobile users to send and receive emails from cell phones, by converting the emails from and into text messages. With flipMail, any cell phone owner, regardless of its handset's type, will be able to send and receive emails without needing to have an Internet enabled device.
It works like this: you write one or more text messages, then flipMail converts them into email format and sends the content to any email address you want. The recipient can view the mail or mails you've sent either from a browser or from another mobile phone that uses flipMail. The service doesn't need WAP, Java or BREW applications, it just uses your phone's network.
