Of joy of course, there's nothing out there that could possibly beat this game

The first thing I'm going to say (although this is not a recommended introduction) is I just s**t in my pants watching the first Rock Band gameplay footage (courtesy of Gamespot.com, via Destructoid.com). The second thing I'm going to say is that those peripherals totally kick Guitar Hero's ass and the third thing I'm going to say is, who gives a crap now that the game will set gamers back some $200 or more. Just look at how much fun it is!

It actually does what they said it will do: make you and your friends a real, live singing rock band. Those who play the guitar, the drummer and the lead singer (the girl in this respective video) are all equally involved in the act/performance, giving that team-work feeling that, my guess is, no other game can provide.

Anyway, just as the video says, those playing are the ones who designed the game so don't be fooled, if you thought Guitar Hero was hard, wait and see how you do when you have to coordinate every note and kick with your fellow Rock Band gamers. Don't you just get the tingles when you think of how you and your friends (why not even family) will play the game non stop every weekend, driving the neighbors crazy?

I'd take my beautiful cousin for the lead singer (I... shouldn't have said that), my brother for the drums and me and my best friend would be the guitar heroes, no wait, erase that, guitar masters. Yes, we'd be the guitar masters and we'd all have a hell of a time.

Anyway, the game is slated for a 20 November release for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and I'll bet they've got even more announcements to make for it - heck what are they going to do these four months, sit with their arms crossed and watch the birds fly? No, even as we speak they're adding more features to the game and by God, if the game plays as good as we've seen in this first gameplay footage, I have to say that the Guitar Hero franchise is surely going down. Not that anyone wants it to go down, but who could possibly resist to such a game...?
