First Photo of Robert Pattinson in ‘Eclipse’

Ever since he and co-star Kristen Stewart were spotted at a Kings of Leon concert in Vancouver apparently kissing and holding hands, British star Robert Pattinson has kept a very low profile, almost as if refusing to go out in public anymore so that paparazzi wouldn’t be able to take his picture. Luckily for fans, Robert is now back to work, having just been snapped in full Edward Cullen makeup on the set of “Eclipse.”

It’s only a few weeks that “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” has started production, but the buzz around it is only getting stronger by the day. However, until now, no one has been able to spot Pattinson and Stewart as Edward and Bella shooting any scene. In this light, a photo of Robert as Edward while on his way to the set is definitely better than nothing, as SocialiteLife also points out in the post that comes with the snaps.

Of course, that’s not to say that this is the very first time that Robert steps on the movie set and / or does a scene for it. Unlike “New Moon,” Edward is very present in “Eclipse” and, since the star has no other projects, it is believed he is also working hard on the third film in the franchise – he’s just been keeping under the radar to avoid unnecessary and unwanted media attention.

As a matter of fact, just the other day, director David Slade Tweeted about shooting a scene with the beloved couple, saying it had went beautifully, except for the noise of the planes overhead. He did not mention what the scene might have been about. “Shot with Rob and Kristen today, both gave great performances. Lots of frustrating noisy planes overhead but beautiful scene regardless.” Slade wrote on his official Twitter page, much to the delight of fans, who had been dying to hear something new about their favorite half-human, half-immortal couple.

The second film in the franchise, “New Moon,” is scheduled for theatrical release on November 20. The promo campaign for it has long kicked in high gear – as part of it, Robert Pattinson will appear in the upcoming issue of Premiere magazine and talk “New Moon” details and how he sees his life once “Twilight” is over, as we also informed you today.
