Ninja Gaiden 3 has just received some more details via a cover story from the Official PlayStation Magazine, including just how much blood it will feature, the difficulty level of the gameplay, as well as a few aspects about the story.

We've known about the existence of Ninja Gaiden 3 for quite some time now, as its developer, Team Ninja, has been talking about some of its general aspects, including the story, which focuses on the protagonist of the franchise, Ryu Hayabusa, as well as the combat, which is going to be more refined.

Ninja Gaiden 3 has now received some fresh details, as a NeoGAF forum member shared some of the exclusive details featured in the upcoming edition of the Official PlayStation Magazine.

According to him and the screenshots from the mag, Ninja Gaiden 3 keeps and might even increase the levels of blood seen in its predecessors, while gameplay will remain at a solid 60 frames per second.

The difficulty of the combat won't be toned down for casual gamers, but the move set of Ryu is going to be a bit more simple, while support for the PlayStation Move motion detection system is currently being explored by Team Ninja.

The weapon store is now gone, as Ryu's arsenal of items are going to upgrade over time and depending on their usage.

Speaking of Ryu, the story will focus on him and won't feature any other playable characters, unlike the older Ninja Gaiden titles, which had fighters like Ayane, Rachel or Momiji in certain levels.

Ninja Gaiden 3 also has two separate multiplayer modes, cooperative and competitive, with one of them, possibly the versus one, featuring support for up to 8 players simultaneously.

Expect official details about Ninja Gaiden 3 at next month's E3 conference, when Team Ninja promised that it will showcase plenty of things about the upcoming hack and slash title.
