Firefly Mobile and Avanquest Announce flyKicks Software for New flyPhone

Firefly Mobile, a developer of mobile products specially designed for kids and teens, and software developer Avanquest announced the launch of the flyKicks application for Firefly Mobile's new flyPhone. Bundled for free with the flyPhone, the software allows users to customize and personalize their phone the way they like, by enabling them to create their own ringtones, wallpapers and slideshows and share them with friends.

flyKicks is a customized version of Avanquest's popular Mobile PhoneTools software. Besides offering many customization and entertainment options, flyKicks is also the portal to the flyStore, from where flyPhone owners can purchase and download a wide range of mobile content, including games, music, ringtones, wallpapers and video from leading content suppliers.

The flyPhone is a multimedia cell phone with full color screen and built in camera, that allows making calls, playing games, taking pictures, listening to music, watching videos, sending text messages and chatting on IM networks.

The flyPhone features an electro-luminescent morphing keypad that automatically switches between game controller, music/video controller and numeric keypad. flyPhone also includes PIN protected parental controls. Parents can choose to limit incoming and outgoing calls to only the numbers stored in the phone book while preventing additional numbers to be added, and can also restrict texting. In addition, parents can control costs via pay-as-you-go plans.
