Recently, Android mobile phone users have had the chance to try out a new software solution for their devices, the beta version of Angry Birds from Rovio, which reportedly runs pretty smoothly on most handsets out there, and which should become available in a final flavor in a matter of weeks, the company announced.

The title is already highly popular among mobile phone users around the world, and it seems that Android owners have been attracted a lot by it too.

The game is highly addictive, and comes with a number of no less than 15 levels, all of which are very enjoyable, some of the reports on the matter suggest.

According to the guys over at TalkAndroid.com, in case people enjoyed the beta version of this game and would like to learn when they can get the final version, they should know that Rovio plans the release within the next few weeks.

“We are currently working hard to ensure that Angry Birds on Android will offer best game experience for as many people as possible. The expected release date is within 2-3 weeks,” the company stated in a recent interview with the news site.

In addition, the company reportedly confirmed that the final version of Angry Birds for Android should become available for more handsets than before, including those with QVGA displays, such as the HTC Wildfire.

“We’re looking into trying to add support for QVGA devices. The game runs on the Hero, but there is a significant lag. We will try to solve any issues for as many devices as possible, before releasing the full version,” the company stated.

No other details on this were unveiled, but the company did promise that more info should become available as the release date for this final flavor of the game nears.

The beta version of Angry Birds for Android was made available for download via the Android Market.
