Mobile games publisher EA Mobile has just made available for purchase and download via the Android Market the final flavor of a pretty appealing game for Android-based mobile phone, namely Need For Speed Shift.

Those Android phone owners who are into racing games would certainly appreciate a lot EA Mobile's NFS: Shift, even if the mobile game might not be able to offer the same experience as the PC / console flavor does.

However, there still are a wide range of features that would make Android users quite happy, that's for sure. Not to mention that the game should run pretty well on some of the latest Android phones out there.

Some of the main features of the new game include: - 20 Different cars to choose from - 18 Tracks across 3 locations - 2 Game modes: Quick Race and Career - 3 Difficulty settings - Physics-based 3D accelerated graphics

The price tag for this mobile game was set at $4.99, which might not be too much for some, but which is a pretty high price for a mobile game.

Here's what the description of this mobile game reads:

“THINK FAST! DRIVE FASTER! OPTIMIZED FOR ANDROID! Drive 20 awesome cars including the BMW M3 GT2, Lamborghini Gallardo, and Pagani Zonda. Features 18 tracks in 3 stunning locations, Quick Race and Career Modes, 3 difficulty settings, and physics-based accelerated 3D graphics.”

In related news, we learn that the mobile game publisher also released Sims 3 in the Android Market. The game was published in the Apple App Store about a year ago, and now it is also available for purchase for users of Google's Android operating system, as a recent article on Android and Me reads.

The same as Need For Speed Shift, the game sports a price tag of $4.99 in the marketplace. Previously, the game was available on Android, but only on the Samsung Vibrant (T-Mobile version of Galaxy S).
