14 DAY TRIAL // Despite what rumors may be saying, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner has every intention of marrying his girlfriend Crystal Harris. In fact, wedding plans are already in motion, Crystal reveals in a recent interview with The New Yorker.
When the announcement came that Hefner had proposed over Christmas, talk began about how he would never marry the girl – and the 60-year difference had nothing to do with it.
Even some of Hefner’s ex girlfriends told the media that Crystal was in the relationship only for the money and that they would never walk down the aisle because it was, at best, a publicity stunt.
Clearly, it’s not true, Crystal says for The New Yorker. She gave up her college education to be Hugh’s full-time girlfriend, knows him very well and is so convinced they will marry she’s already arranging wedding details.
Crystal was a psychology major, but, as she puts it, she thought it be much more fun to “just, you know, hang out with Hef.” Plus, school will always be there for her if she ever has second thoughts and decides to get her college diploma.
In the same interview, the 24-year-old blonde also reveals that the proposal was not a surprise: she and Hefner had actually talked about it last summer, so she knew it was coming.
“He asked me, ‘If I were to ask you to marry me, would you say yes?’ And I said, ‘Of course.’ So then Hef’s secretaries measured my ring finger,” Crystal reveals.

The glamour girl also speaks on wedding plans: she wants a June romantic wedding, all in mute colors with a splash of pink here and there, two dresses, and four bridesmaids.
Crystal has even picked out the cake, so there’s little doubt that the wedding is actually taking place this summer: it will be round, with four tiers, decorated with white chocolate and strawberry filling.
“Strawberry’s good. Like, cake that has strawberries in it? So good. And Hef likes that kind, too. He eats the same thing every day. He has chicken-noodle soup every day at five o’clock,” Crystal reveals.
