System 3 is announcing that it has readied a downloadable pack for its racing simulation title Ferrari Challenge: Trofeo Pirelli. The pack is set to add five fresh cars, all Ferraris, and one new track on which you can race, Nurburgring, a 5.15 km long punishing addition set to offer a different level of challenge for all those who have mastered the tracks in the initial release. The record lap time for Nurburgring was set by Michael Schumacher at 1.29.468. He achieved this lap time by using a Ferrari F1 car in 2004.

Of course, the real stars of the DLC are the five new cars. The 430 Scuderia is another Ferrari product linked to Michael Schumacher, who played a role in creating it. The car can get to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.1 seconds and can go up to over 300 kph. The 599 GTB Fiorano, which features a 5999cc, V12 engine is one of the best sports cars in the world. It gets to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.7 seconds and it has taken a few Car of the Year Awards since it was first seen on the road.

Another addition to the line up is the 612 Scaglietti Sessanta, a car which was only produced in a series of 60 to celebrate Ferrari's 60th anniversary. Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson used this game to beat his co-hosts in a race from the United Kingdom to Switzerland.

The 330 P4 is “one of the most revered cars in Ferrari’s long and illustrious history,” System 3 stated, and as such it has to be featured in a game built around Ferrari cars. It has a 4 liter V12, that produces 450 bhp and is basically an adapted version of an F1 engine. As just one of the 330 P4 cars built remains as it was originally made, it's nice to get a chance to use it in Ferrari Challenge: Trofeo Pirell.

The last car offered is the Enzo Ferrari, which has a gearbox from Formula 1 and a 5998cc, V12 engine. The car gets to 100 kph in 3.14 seconds and looks impressive while getting there.
