Fast cars, sweet tracks and the smell of hot rubber are a delight for every car lover out there. Not to mention the dream idea of driving a Ferrari. And if this seems like a dream that will never come true, System 3 is ready to prove you wrong with Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli. The game was initially announced for the PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii and DS consoles, but the developers started to think about PS2 owners, too, and decided to make the game available for this particular gaming console, too.

Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli on the PS2 promises to match the PS3 version in terms of game features. This means 50 expertly-modeled Ferraris, the full series of tracks and some great AI. An online multiplayer mode for up to 8 players will also be available, as well as a mini game - the Card Challenge, for those who fancy some tactics, strategy and Ferrari love, of course.

"We want Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli to reach as many gamers as possible and the PS2 version is instrumental in achieving this," says System 3 CEO, Mark Cale. "Despite technical limitations, the team at Eutechnyx are doing an outstanding job in translating the exceptional features of the PS3 version to its predecessor, maintaining an excellent standard of visuals and keeping that incredible handling intact. We're confident that Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli will set the standard by which other PlayStation 2 racing titles will be judged".

Hopefully all these will turn to be right, since the game indeed looks great and it has the "golden tough" from Bruno Senna, nephew of F1 legend Ayrton Senna. And, even though I said it too many times already: it's a game filled with Ferraris! Just that little piece of information, and this game will surely be an unique title. We can hardly wait to give it a go sometime during this Spring, when the game is set for a multi-platform release.
