14 DAY TRIAL // Less than six months after their fairy-tale wedding, singer Fergie and Hollywood star Josh Duhamel were already fighting and talking divorce, reports were saying at the time. After many nights spent like this, the Black Eyed Peas star has finally agreed to clean up her act and get pregnant, following insistences and pleas from her husband, who wanted to start a family immediately after the wedding, the National Enquirer says (story via here).
In all fairness, Josh and Fergie never publicly admitted to any trouble in paradise, which might as well mean that the reports on them fighting were only rumors. Still, the Enquirer claims to have it from very reliable sources that the two have finally come to an understanding: Fergie will clean her party girl act and will become a mother, having agreed to start trying for a baby as soon as possible.
“Desperate to get her marriage to Josh Duhamel back on track, Fergie has agreed to get pregnant – and she announced her change of heart in the middle of a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game! As The Enquirer previously reported, the Black Eyed Peas thrush and her hunky thesp hubby were fighting just six months into their marriage. Josh, 36, was ready to start a family, while Fergie, 34, continued to party. But after some soul-searching, she agreed to chill and promised Josh they could start trying for a baby after her tour ends in the fall, say sources.” the aforementioned tabloid says.
Josh, who has never really agreed with Fergie’s wild ways, repeatedly insisted with her to settle down and start acting more responsibly. After many months of talking and fighting, he finally got her to see things his way, and she promised to give maternity a try once she’s done with her current projects, insiders close to the couple reveal for The Enquirer. After all, there was only so much putting it off that she could do – as fans must know, Fergie has always said she was looking forward to becoming a mom, but that she felt the time was not yet right for her.
“Fergie turned to Josh right in the middle of the baseball game and told him she wanted a baby to make their lives complete. She says pregnancy will be a crash course in cleaning up her act. [Josh] adores Fergie, and he can’t wait for her to be pregnant.” the so-called friend says for the tab.
