Bethesda, the publisher, and Obsidian, the developer, have announced the star studded voice cast that is set to appear in the upcoming Fallout: New Vegas, a post apocalyptic role playing game that has strong action game elements and launches on October 19.

Fallout: New Vegas is built using the same engine as Fallout 3, a multi million selling game, with the action moving to the West of the United States, the area around Vegas, which has not been hit as hard by the nuclear exchange between China and the USA.

The voice cast will include well known actors like Ron Perlman, who is against the narrator of the story, while Matthew Perry, best known from “Friends”, becomes Beeny, a two faced gangster with a silver tongue, and Wayne Newton is the voice of a radio DJ.

Danny Trejo, known from “From Dusk Till Dawn”, will embody Raul the Ghoul, a mechanics and gunslinger, Zach Levi, the star of “Chuck”, will play Arcade, a mysterious character who works for the Followers of the Apocalypse, while “The Guild” star Felicia Day takes on the role of Veronica, a scribe for the Brotherhood of Steel that has a sarcastic view on life.

Other voices acting in Fallout: New Vegas is done by: Kris Kristofferson as Chief Hanlon, a veteran soldier; Rene Auberjonois as Mr. House, Michael Dorn as Marcus, a super mutant with unusual intelligence, John Doman as Caesar, a dictator with his own powerful army and William Sadler as Victor, a robot with a cowboy personality.

Pete Hines, the vice president of public relations and marketing at Bethesda Softworks, has stated, “The Fallout franchise has taken narratives in interactive entertainment to the next level, and we could not be more excited about the all-new celebrity lineup for Fallout: New Vegas. The voice acting provided by these actors helps drive the compelling and immersive story of Fallout and further adds to the overall gameplay experience.”
