A user-friendly and free service

Hundreds of millions of smartphones are currently on the market, and about a hundred million more are expected to be sold this year and still access to the web hasn't really been a success on those advanced devices.

Most Blackberry, Nokia E62, Treo or Motorola Q users admit to using their devices only for email and text messaging. Users aren't all that thrilled about mobile Internet due to excessive typing of web addresses, difficult downloads that don't work or websites that aren't user friendly and most of them have decided to give the service up completely.

TheFastPages has found a way to provide easier, faster web access and is even providing this for free. There isn't even any downloading required.

Chris Chilvers, founder and president, says, "We wanted to develop a whole new way to explore the internet on these millions of smartphones and in a way that users would no longer find disappointing. All you have to do is go here on a smartphone and you are on board for a great ride."

With a single click, users will be able to instantly access their unique directory of the most user-friendly and strategic web content or dial any of the thousands of useful phone numbers from airlines, hotels, emergency, restaurants and others.

According to the company, mobile users will finally be able to enjoy a fast and easy web browsing experience on any web-enabled mobile phone or even on their computers. The service is directed by a small group of young-minded retired businessmen and founded by Chris Chilvers, the inventor of the GPS-card Navigation System that is now retired.
