After one intense bidding war and a surprising twist at the end, a fan won the right to be on the set of “Breaking Dawn,” Part 1, for an entire day, mix with the crew and hang out with the stars – for $60,000.

Earlier this month, a set visit on “Breaking Dawn” went up for auction, with all the proceeds from it going to a charity organization, Stand Up to Cancer.

However, as Moviefone also points out, no one even dared to dream a “Twilight” fan may go this far in order to have a shot at spending some time with the likes of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart or Taylor Lautner.

In other words, one lucky fan has just pledged $60,000 for the cause in exchange for a set visit on one of the most hyped releases of next year, the fourth installment of “The Twilight Saga.”

“After ten days, and a heated last few minutes that saw the bidding increase from $40,000 to the winning amount above, one very lucky Twilight fan now gets to pay more money than most people make in a year for airfare to Seattle, VIP car service to Vancouver and a presumably memorable experience chumming around with vampire royalty,” Moviefone reports.

However, as we also informed you before the auction started, this money doesn’t guarantee the fan will actually meet either star involved in the film.

The notice on eBay, for instance, only said something about accommodation and transportation to the set of “Breaking Dawn” – no mention whether Pattinson, Stewart, Lautner or anyone else starring in the film.

However, since this is charity and the amount just donated is pretty impressive, it is believed producers and stars would make an effort to meet and greet the fan.

Another idea, Moviefone says, would be to offer him / her a small part as an extra in the scene that is shot on the day of the visit – after all, it’s been done before in other productions and to great results.

“Hopefully for the amount donated the prize winner will also be given a little walk-on role, too. It’s only fair, no?” Moviefone writes.

“Given that such a part on TV’s True Blood has in the past been available for $10,000 and for $25,000 you could be an extra in X-Men: First Class, sixty grand should be worth a little more than a bit of hanging out,” the same e-zine asks.
