Gamers on PC might get more options to tweak the experience

The team in charge of Fallout 4 at Bethesda says that it is aiming to deliver the experience running at a resolution of 1080p and at 30 frames per second on the Xbox One from Microsoft, the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the PC.

The information comes from game director Todd Howard, who tells DigitalSpy that at the moment there are no plans to try and hit 60 FPS.

It's also unclear whether the development team will offer a more extensive set of graphics-related options for those who get Fallout 4 on the PC, which is more powerful than any of the modern home consoles and offers more options for customization.

Some gamers were disappointed with the quality of the graphics when the game was first shown during the E3 2015 press conference from Bethesda.

Todd Howard has also said that he is more interested in delivering impressive gameplay mechanics and an engaging world rather than making everything look beautiful.

Fallout 4 is taking gamers to Boston and the surrounding area and will focus on a survivor from Vault 111, who has a mysterious origin that the team is not willing to talk about yet.

The game will introduce extensive building and crafting

The biggest surprise when the open world post-apocalyptic title was demoed was that gamers will be able to get materials as they travel and then use them to create entirely new buildings.

They will get their own inhabitants, and Fallout 4 will allow players to link them with trade routes and to then put up defenses in order to make sure that raiders do not loot them.

Bethesda is also preparing a new crafting system for the title, with 50 weapons and more than 700 variations for them, with fans able to tweak the way their own suit of Power Armor works.

Todd Howard is also saying that the video game will not include any paid mods when it launches and that gamers will get a Creation Kit for the title a few months after launch, which will allow those on the PC to create content that can also be used on home consoles.

Fallout 4 will be out on November 10.
