The FBI and the Boston PD are passing the buck on who is to blame for not figuring out the Tsarnaevs' intentions to bomb the Boston Marathon.

On one hand, the Boston police claim that they have not been notified about the FBI's interest in Tamerlan Tsarnaev until after the bombing.

ABC News quoted police commissioner Ed Davis saying that they were told exactly three days and a half after the explosions.

Discussions on the agencies' involvement or lack thereof in properly assessing Tsarnaev's intentions erupted during a House Homeland Security Committee meeting held on Thursday, May 9.

The BPD "specifically had representatives assigned to the JTTF [Joint Terrorism Task Force] squad that conducted the 2011 Assessment of deceased terrorism suspect, Tamerlan Tsarnaev," the FBI fires back in a statement.

As I mentioned before, the FBI have been watching the older Tsarnaev brother since 2011, after being tipped on his radicalization by Russian officials.

Meanwhile, Tamerlan Tsarnaev's body has been interred somewhere on US soil, and some sources are saying that he could be buried in Connecticut.
