One of the largest providers of games on demand offerings, Exent has just announced its new distribution platform for Android, GameTanium Mobile.

It appears that this is the first subscription service for mobile devices that offers customers unlimited game play of Android games, including Farm Frenzy, Speedx 3D and The Secret of Grisly Manor.

Mainly a provider of PC games on demand, Exent collaborated with multiple major carriers, including Verizon, Mediacom and T-Mobile USA.

However, with the launch of GameTanium Mobile, carriers will be able to extend their brand and games offering to new screens, increasing average revenue per user (ARPU).

According to Exent, GameTanium Mobile was built specifically for carriers and is intended to provide a better ecosystem for monetization on Android.

Exent has successfully powered Verizon Games with its Built with GameTanium offering since 2005. We look forward to its mobile counterpart to bring the benefits of the Verizon Games subscription to our users wherever they want to play,” said Jason Henderson, product manager of Games & Music Services at Verizon.

GameTanium Mobile is currently available for a monthly fee of $4.99 and is expected to grow to over 200 premium Android games by the end of the year.

GameTanium Mobile is a win all around. For carriers, it bolsters their value added services and supports their multiscreen programming strategies. Game developers will benefit from a positive impact on conversion with integrated billing options and increased discovery due to the apps rapid-browse UI and advanced programming,” said Christina Kuzma, chief marketing officer at Exent.

The service is now available for Android smartphones with compatibility for other mobile platforms and devices including tablets coming soon.

Those who wish to subscribe can visit the developer's website directly from their Android device and download a free trial of the service.
