14 DAY TRIAL // Enslaved: Odyssey to the West will be on the receiving end of some fresh downloadable content later this year, as Namco Bandai has just announced Pigsy's Perfect 10 DLC.
The expansion will place players in the shoes of Pigsy, one of the characters the main protagonists of the game, Monkey and Trip, encounter throughout their adventures.
It takes place before the two heroes appear in Pigsy's scrap yard, as the character wants to create a perfect woman from all the parts he can find in the Titan graveyard.
Pigsy will be assisted by a mechanical companion, called Truffles, which will help him, alongside his trusty sniper rifle and the mechanical claw he can use to jump around the environment.
"Pigsy's gameplay will have a completely different gameplay dynamic, with a focus on stealth and sharp-shooting," revealed Namco in a statement. "He has plenty of tricks up his sleeves including a far-reaching hookshot, trusty sniper rifle, various grenades and devices, Trouble Vision eye piece and the aid of his trusty mechanical sidekick Truffles."
Besides the new gameplay offered in the expansion, Pigsy's Perfect 10 will also come with a new 3D mode for Enslaved.
According to the company, the game will get TriOviz 3D, which can be seen on new 3DTVs or on regular HDTVs, but with the requirement of special TriOviz "InfiColor" 3D shutter glasses.
Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is one of the few original titles that appeared this fall, and we praised it in our own review for its intense visuals and the tight gameplay that offered a great experience.
While the regular game might not offer a lot of replay value, Pigsy's Perfect 10 expansion will certainly warrant a new jump into the world of Enslaved.
Look forward to the DLC's launch later this year for 10 U.S. dollars.
