Andrei Dumitrescu: My (extended) weekend will feature one long trip, through the medium of video games, to the Middle East and its sand covered expanses.

First off, I plan to go through the single player campaign of the new Medal of Honor, the game which was put together by Danger Close, for the section I am interested in, and by DICE, for the multiplayer, to see if the game manages to offer anything new when it comes to the traditional mechanics of first person shooter and if it managed to create any dramatic moment that can measure up to the atomic bomb going off in the first Modern Warfare.

And when the need to change genres come up I will play the Crusader role in the Lionheart real time strategy title from Neocore Games, trying to get to Baghdad without going too much in debt to the Venetian loan sharks.

Andrei Dobra: This weekend, for me, will also be filled with some Medal of Honor, as I really want to see if EA can actually reboot the series successfully or if it's just an attempt to cash in on the Modern Warfare military shooter craze.

When the trip through Afghanistan grows weary, I'll indulge in some classic retro goodness, in the form of Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1.

Even though I wasn't all that good at the original Sonic arcade games, I'm curious to see if Sega has finally figured out how to take care of its beloved mascot.

Last but not least, I'll probably dive back into Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, even though I already finished this game once.

While the title doesn't really have lots of things to draw you back in, I really want to explore its environments once more and reconnect with the two fantastic characters, Monkey and Trip.
