Andrei Dumitrescu: It's now 2011, but there's still some time to go before we begin to see significant new releases, starting with the PlayStation 3 exclusive Little Big Planet 2 and with the multiplatform Dead Space 2, which drop at the end of January.

Until then I plan to keep up with my old obsessions (for those who do not know: Pro Cycling Manager 2010 with PCM Daily and the Dune Wars mod for Civilization IV) and to go back and work through some of the backlog that has been increasing all throughout 2010.

So this weekend it's time to get back to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, a game which I began playing and rather quickly abandoned because of balance issues and lack of interest, because this year we are set to get Skyrim, a new story set in the same universe.

I have a complete edition of the game ready to go at any time, but before I fire it up with the intent of actually finishing it this time I plan to spend some time hunting for mods, both for balance and to make it a better looking experience in 2011.

Andrei Dobra: This weekend I'll be continuing my BioWare binge session with Dragon Age: Origins, another title from the Canadian studio that eluded me when it was first released, as well as a few multiplayer matches in the stunning Red Dead Redemption.

After completing Mass Effect 1 and 2 in the past few weeks, I finally decided to actually pick up Dragon Age: Origins, a title which I skipped when it was first released.

I'm pretty thankful, as even if the game is a pretty hardcore role-playing title, with intricate stats or other such things, it's quite entertaining and sees its tense gameplay intertwined with an interesting story.

I'm still in the early stages, but I'll certainly sink in quite a few hours in it this weekend.

When I'm not delving into the medieval fantasy of Dragon Age, I'll probably be visiting America's turn of the century Wild West, through some multiplayer matches of Red Dead Redemption.

Thanks to the recent patch, my interest has once again been raised, so I can't wait to start handing out my own type of justice in Rockstar's open world title.
