Emma Stone laughs about Tracy Anderson’s method in new Vanity Fair interview

Actress Emma Stone has landed her first-ever Vanity Fair cover, just in time to promote any of her upcoming films, like “Friends with Benefits,” “The Help,” “Crazy, Stupid, Love,” and “Spider-Man.” In the interview, she accidentally mocks Tracy Anderson’s “diet,” a celebrity favorite.

Though critics are completely smitten with her, especially after her beautiful performances in “Superbad,” “Zombieland” and “Easy A,” while audiences also love her to death, Emma has managed to keep a very low profile so far.

She’s rarely in the magazines and she’s almost never hounded by paparazzi down the street. Vanity Fair believes this is best explained by the fact that Emma has never done anything scandalous to make her newsworthy for some publications.

Speaking of the attention she gets from the media and whether she feels any pressure to look a certain way, Emma is completely honest: she doesn’t really care and no, she doesn’t.

Immediately after, she starts making fun of Tracy Anderson and her method, though perhaps there’s no trace of malice in it.

Anderson, for those not in the know, is one of the most popular personal trainers in Hollywood, mostly because she used to work with Madonna when she started out.

Her client list includes the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Simpson, Cheryl Cole and many, many other stars.

“I’m definitely more conscious of it as I’ve gotten older,” she says of her body, while admitting she doesn’t feel any pressure to look a certain way yet.

“That diet, have you seen it?” she says of Tracy Anderson’s regime.

“It’s like: Eat this diet, which is a palm-size piece of chicken and some beans, and work out two hours a day for the rest of your life,” she says, clearly amused.

It’s not just Anderson’s workout that she dislikes: Emma confesses she did weight training and Pilates with “Spider-Man” co-star Andrew Garfield, to disastrous results because it brought the anger in her.

Instead, she prefers to rock-climb at Chelsea Piers in New York City and, so far, it seems enough to keep her in excellent shape.
