“NCIS” fans have had to say goodbye to Ziva Davis (Cote de Pablo) in season 11, but producers already have a new female castmember ready to get in on the action. Emily Wickersham will become a series regular as of November 19, Variety confirms.

Wickersham already has a pretty impressive record in TV work, but has also starred in several Hollywood movies, some better or worse received by critics than others, including “I Am Number 4” and “Remember Me” with “Twilight” heartthrob Robert Pattinson.

We’ll see how she clicks with the NCIS fanbase when she joins the team.

She will play “NSA analyst Eleanor Bishop, an idealistic and determined specialist in international threat assessment and preparation,” and you can get a good look at her in the photo above.

Executive producer Gary Glasberg describes Bishop as the perfect member for the NCIS team, saying that “Her energy and enthusiasm is contagious. Great things are planned for Bishop and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her on-board.”

Hopefully, fans will feel the same way about the addition.
