Disney and Pixar are currently working on a sequel to the 2003 animated hit film “Finding Nemo,” as we also reported some time ago. According to the latest, Ellen DeGeneres is now in talks to reprise her role.

Fans will remember that, in the original film, the comedienne and talk show host voiced a fish named Dory, who suffered from short-term memory loss, which made her all the more adorable.

Dory will be back for Nemo's brand new, upcoming adventure.

“Ellen DeGeneres is in negotiations to reprise her role in Disney/Pixar's planned Finding Nemo sequel. Assuming the deal comes together, DeGeneres would voice Dory, a blue tang fish who was suffering from short-term memory loss in the 2003 original film,” The Hollywood Reporter notes.

Because Dory will most likely be making a comeback, movie buffs are now discussing the possibility of the sequel being retitled “Finding Dory,” given that Nemo was found once already.

Still, that's just speculation at this point.
