New interview from LeAnn is full of gems, a subtle diss at Brandi Glanville too

LeAnn Rimes has a dance remix album out now (called “Dance like You Don’t Give a…”) so, to promote it, she sat down for a chat with a gay magazine. She says that her husband Eddie Cibrian always gets hit on by the gays and that she loves to embarrass him.

Indeed, some years ago, before the cheating scandal that got him with his current wife and ended his marriage to Brandi Glanville, back when he was on “Sunset Beach” or even later, on “Third Watch,” Eddie was a doll.

With his cute dimples, sweet smile and ripped body, he could probably land any woman he set his eyes on. Today, he’s lost a lot of credibility and appeal for the mere fact that he didn’t know how to handle personal matters without making a fool of himself in public and, of course, for cheating.

According to LeAnn speaking to Pride Source, Eddie is still as hot as ever, and she knows for a fact that her gay fans would love to get their hands on him. So, one of her greatest pleasures is to “embarrass” him by dragging him to her shows at gay clubs.

“I've definitely watched him get looked up and down in every way, shape or form... so yeah, basically hit on,” LeAnn laughs. “It's hysterical seeing these guys freak out over him. For me, I laugh so hard, because Eddie is really pretty cool about it all, but sometimes he can be shy and uncomfortable, and I love to see him in that element. It's completely not his element, but he knows how to work it.”

Because we might never know the truth of this situation (it could be that Eddie hasn’t lost his appeal entirely), let’s move on to something we can verify: LeAnn and Eddie’s reality show. In the same interview, LeAnn changes her mind again and lies by saying that the show is not scripted.

We already know it is. Plus, as if that weren’t enough, not long ago, LeAnn was describing it as a “script-ality,” a fictional comedy show loosely based on their life as a couple.

It turns out that LeAnn wants us now to believe that everything we see happen on camera is the real deal. She also believes that the show will help her bring the conversation back on the topic of her music, because she insists she never wanted to be a celebrity.

“With the new show on VH1, and these eight episodes that we filmed, you really do get to see the story that is us and not some soap opera that people have made up because it sells magazines. And it's hard to sit back and not be combative about it, but there's so much and only so many times you can say, ‘That's a lie,’ because it all is,” she says.

“To be able to take control of it in a way and laugh about it, which we do, has become very much a coping mechanism,” LeAnn adds.

She is convinced that people will never say a bad thing about her and Eddie now and that they will start paying attention to her music again because, with the show, she said “Chapter closed.”

That would have been the case if she’d been honest about it. LeAnn’s ever-changing narrative is making it very hard to focus on her music because, through it, she’s telling the world that she cares more about the way she’s perceived than about her own music. And no one wants to buy the work of an artist who seemingly cares so little about it.
