1C Company has announced its lineup of titles for this year's Gamescom event that will take place in Köln, Germany between the 18th and the 22nd of August. This one of the largest independent software publishers in Eastern Europe. 1C Company is based in Russia and it is also known there for its productivity software and the Russian localizations of many well-known Western games.

Gamescom attendees will have the opportunity to see Captain Blood, Death to Spies 3, King's Bounty: Crossworlds, Men of War: Assault Squad, Men of War: Vietnam, Off-Road Drive, Real Warfare 2: Northern Crusades, Red Orchestra 2, Star Wolves 3: Ashes of Victory and Theater of War 3: Korea.

Captain Blood is 1C response to the God of War combat genre, very popular on consoles these days. SeaWolf, its developer, is trying to add some new elements to the mix, like an original pirate setting and ship battles, meant to keep things interesting and make the game stand out of the crowd of Kratos impersonators out there. The tentative release date of Captain Blood is the third quarter of 2010.

Death to Spies 3 is the third installment in 1C's stealth series. The title allows players to fill in the shoes of Russian counter-intelligence agent Captain Strogov in an intriguing Cold War espionage setting. This time around the protagonist will be joined by another set of playable characters, Viktor Kovalev and Olga Godunova-Lopes, each with their unique skills and abilities. Numerous location will be featured in the game from North America to Cuba and even some European locales.

King's Bounty: Crossworlds is a stand-alone expansion pack for King's Bounty: Armored Princess that will feature two new campaigns with new creatures, items and quests. This is also a game that is set to come out in the third quarter of 2010. 1C Company's booth will host gameplay demonstrations of these titles as well as meeting with some of the developers behind the publishing outfit's product.
