EVGA is getting ready to introduce a new Sandy Bridge motherboard in its highly acclaimed line of FTW (For the Win) products. This will be based on the Intel P67 Express chipset and is designed especially for enthusiast users who require advanced overclocking capabilities.

The motherboard is called simply enough the P67 FTW B3 and sports the same black and red colorway that EVGA has used for most of its FTW solutions.

One of the most important features of the board is its support for 3-way SLI setups, as the motherboard packs no less than six PCI Express x16 slots, which are driven by an Nvidia nForce 200 chip.

This is used to bridge the 16 PCI Express lanes available form the integrated PCIe Sandy Bridge controller into a pair of x16 links, which can be further configured as three x8 links to enable 3-way SLI operation.

In addition to the six PCIe x16 slots, the board also features a PCI Express x1 slot and what appears to be a mini-PCIe slot.

The CPU is powered via a 12-phase VRM with split heatsinks and the board packs the usual arrangement of SATA ports driven by the P67 PCH (two SATA 6Gbps and four SATA 3Gbps).

Since EVGA is targeting the enthusiast crowd with the P67 FTW B3, the board features a wide assortment of overclocking friendly features, such as support for EVGA EVBot, an external overclock control and monitoring module, jumpers to toggle specific PCIe slots, voltage measurement points, onboard power and reset buttons, and a BIOS POST debug display.

Other connectivity features include 8-channel HD audio, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, USB 3.0, and a number of USB 2.0 ports.

The P67 FTW B3 should be available soon, and EVGA expects the motherboard to retail for a rather low $200 USD. (via TechPowerUp)
