Famed Hollywood actor and director Clint Eastwood and his family are now the latest reality stars coming from E!, the same network that also made the Kardashians into international superstars. “Mrs. Eastwood & Company” will premiere this May.

Talk of a reality show with the Eastwoods has been around for some months, but many fans chose not to believe the rumors, hoping there was no truth to them.

Confirmation has now come, straight from E!, that the rumors were true, Entertainment Weekly reports.

However, not all hope is lost: Clint won't be one of the stars of the show. If he's lucky, he will probably only have to make a few cameos.

“Rather than a deeper look into the life of esteemed actor and director Clint Eastwood, the series will focus on his wife Dina, their teenage daughters Francesca and Morgan, and 'Overtone': the all-male, six member South African vocal group that Dina manages (hence the 'Company.'),” EW writes.

In other words, as we also reported a while ago, the show will be more about Dina and her business endeavors, and her and Clint's daughters – and how they plan to forge careers in showbiz.

However, the new project will also show more of the life of the Eastwood family and, inevitably, this will also include Clint.

“Nothing is more important to me than family – no matter how you define that,” Dina Eastwood says in a statement cited by the aforementioned e-zine.

“People might be surprised by how we live our lives and our unconventional approach, and I also believe that it’s hard not to fall in love with my band, 'Overtone',” she adds.

“I’m really proud of my family. They are a constant source of inspiration and entertainment,” Clint chimes in.

While his family is shooting the E! reality show, Clint is also keeping busy with an older passion project of his, the film “A Star Is Born.”

With Beyonce on board as the female lead, the director is now reportedly in talks with Tom Cruise for a part in the musical, as we also informed you the other day.
