14 DAY TRIAL // "Born to be wiiiild" - remember the words Duke used to sing ages ago? Of course you remember. You, like everybody else, are waiting for Duke Nukem Forever for 10 years already. Want to see some more? We got it ? a first screen with the new Duke ? and from what we see, he's ready to turn the alien pigs into soap and stick that stinky cigar up their... rears. But that's not the only thing we have for you! The really big news, the stuff that will make half of the planet happy ? 3D Realms has announced that today the first teaser trailer for Duke Nukem, will be available to watch!
If you don't know it already, the last official images related to Duke Nukem Forever were released back in 2001 and they are already obsolete (it's been 6 years since then, anyway). So, we can say it now that we'll get to see the complete new look of Duke and have a real merry Christmas! We know everybody is really excited about this but, for now, this single screenshot should be enough for you, as the trailer will be released at noon, CST.
The 3D Realms team tries to be modest about this, as they posted a message on their official site:
"Guys just to manage expectations... This is a teaser. It's not a full blown trailer like the 2001 trailer (but something like that is coming). I tried to be clear about that in the message board post, so just bear in mind that it's a teaser."
They make it sound like "it's just a teaser", but it's all about Duke here, for God's sake! And from the looks he has in the screenshot, he's ready to kick some serious a**. He's been training for 10 years already and he should be ready! He also seems to resemble Bruce Willis a little, while his cigar make us remember Arnold back in the good days (or Bill Clinton, for the 18+ readers). But he's none of these. He's Duke. Duke Nukem Forever!
