Developer Evolution Studios has talked about the technical aspects of its upcoming Driveclub game for the PlayStation 4 next-gen console, confirming that the racing experience will run at a 1080p (1920x1080) resolution and at 60 frames-per-second.

Driveclub is one of the PS4's different launch-day games, with Evolution Studios, the developer behind the Motorstorm franchise, promising to deliver an impressive racing experience.

While the footage showcased so far saw the game run at 30 frames-per-second, the studio told PlayStationer that the goal was to perform at 60fps and at a 1080p resolution.

Things are still being streamlined for the game, so as of yet, the studio can't say for sure what the end result will be.

Either way, the developer has also confirmed that the multiplayer in the new racing game will have dedicated servers, meaning there will be no advantages for any participants.
